About the Book:

The Candy Kiss leapt for joy, its niggly-wiggly waving vigorously in the air. From the smoldering ashes of a stunned airline and a torn-apart relationship rose a young woman destined to carry on her father’s legacy, a task based on “Honor, Love, and Respect” and symbolized by the simple candy kiss, a tiny, humble, yet sweet and strong representative of the Condor family.

In the early months of this task, she unmasks the hidden relationships among the top officers of the airline as well as the environment which nurtured its rise. In one explosive moment she “peels the layers of the onion” and shows to the world the core of the family, and in so doing, becomes not only a member of the family but its titular head and Keeper of the Candy Kiss.

This sequel to “The German Triangle” follows Natalie as she steps into a man’s world and succeeds in making it her own.

About the Book:

A young pilot assigned to post WW II Germany meets a young German woman who wants nothing to do with pilots of either uniform. After helping her disabled father in a fight with Nazi youths, her manner changes and they quickly bond and plan on spending the rest of their lives together. However, an airplane crash during the Berlin Blockade leaves the pilot in a coma and forces his evacuation state-side without the opportunity to see her again.

Upon recovery, the young man starts a cargo delivery service. Years pass and while celebrating the firm’s 25th Anniversary, an important call requesting a proposal to provide worldwide delivery service for an emerging computer manufacturing company is received. Realizing the magnitude of the proposal request, he ok’s temporary help to meet the required deadline.

The pilot, now in his 50’s, starts an affair with one of the young, temporary interns. While having dinner with her, he suffers a severe heart attack which lands him in the hospital. The intern calls her mother and begs her to come and provide much needed support. Upon her arrival, they immediately go to the hospital.

Entering the patient’s room, the mother realizes the patient is the American pilot she was to spend her life with and that he is now her daughter’s lover.
